HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME:))! hehe.

I postponed my birthday holiday until next month and have nothing planned other than that. Too busy at the moment. But...as busy as I am I put together a wishlist of a few things that caught my eye.

AMAZINGG CHANEL BIKE. I'd give up driving my BMW X6 for this. Really, I would ~~~ on sunshiney days only :P

❤ Steak and chips, fine dining style.
❤ Lamb shank; falls straight off the bone!
❤ Tiger prawn risotto. One single super large prawn sitting on a bed of fluffy rice.
Not usually a fan of risotto but this one was delish.
❤ Lobster with mash. Best lobster I've had to date.
❤ Rich chocolate and cream.

All this for just €379 and I didn't even get the name of what we thought was a little bistro.

Saw my tan buffalo leather ZARA bag, in the shop window in a lighter nudey shade. (Lighting is not great, it's actually a very peachy nude colour)
It cost 125 euros, at which the exchange rate was almost 1 to 1. I brought mine in the UK for £79.99. The only justification is the fact that it's a lovely colour, only available in Europe?

Anyhow, 125 euros is still an amazing price to pay for this!

Wanted a normal couple photo with my bf.
But he never stops working. His new part time job whilst at uni is to be a DJ. He DJs 20hours a day (moving away from his c-walk hobby which you can view here)
Daily schedule in Vietnam- Training in the morning, another private tutor after Dj school, then out at night playing live in a club! Whilst I, Juju is either eating, sleeping or shopping, lulz.

So I thought I'd play around with his Beats by Dre and take photos of us with him totally ignoring me ha.

Custom beats were by ColorWare which he got 2 years ago, before the big hype so the few that new what they wore thought it was fake. He paid double the price inc. import tax from the US, baka!
He never reads my blog posts so he won't see that comment, idiot : )
Then again he thinks the same about handbags. But not shoes; he loves his shoes too haha.

Made him let me take some photos. This is what he did instead. Looks funneh heh.

He is still in Vietnam now! Been there for 3 months. I don't miss you. poohead.

07/08/2011 My cousins and sis all text/call me asking if I am safe. I'm just confused because I've just moved into my new place, no TV and no access to internet. They told me about everything going on in London and how it has spread to Birmingham and will spread to other cities! Here's me living in this bubble oblivious to all this chaos going on outside!

08/08/2011 Quickly made two trips to Tesco to stock up for hibernation! Couldn't carry all the heavy juice at once. (Buy2get2free) :D The sales associates rushed me to leave the store and said everyone had to leave town by 4pm because there was going to be another riot in the Jewellery Quarter!
Walked pass Louis Vuitton store; Empty!

My poor arm from carrying all those drinks. Even though Tesco is only 3mins walk away.

Besides Vinpearl island, we went to Hon Tam resort on another island in Nha Trang.
Only cost 500,000VND per person for the VIP package! Soso beautiful, didn't want to leave. I hadn't even tanned to a nice golden colour yet.

1st time parasailing!! So scared. Especially after seeing the 2 girls before us. They didn't do a run up, so when they got back on the land, she was picking out all her splinters on her scratched up legs.
I bashed ken's head twice in the air when the boat tugged harder. haha.
Plunged into the sea and swallowed a moutful of salty sea. nasty!

Went in search for a a kawaii pig, cat or panda plush for fafa. She wanted one large one but then changed her mind to two small ones just so she could give one to her best friend. Bless her, she's always so generous and cute.

Couldn't decide which size! Didn't like the 2nd biggest one was the same price (320,000 VND £10) as the large one but the material of the large one is not as good quality. Cheapy material like those teddies you win at the fair.

Dilemma. No space...Uh oh...xD
Have to squish one ju into the suitcase and carry one on the plane.

One of Ken's DJ school teachers/friend was driving his friend, Hao back to her hometown all the way in Nha Trang. He asked if me and ken wanted to go to the beautiful beach city for the weekend.

It was only a 45minute journey on the plane but Minh suggested that driving is fun and that he drove there many times before. I don't know how he does it, pretty amazing because I simply get sleepy from eating or shopping for a few hours, nevermind driving x_X (Hence why I'm a juju heh).

4th Bag of snot in one day!

I gots a bad cold. 2 days trapped in this hotel room and threw up in the middle of the night. Oh deary me~ The hot - cold - hot - cold - hot - cold weather here has taken its toll on my body. I can't keep up with the sudden changes of the hot, humid outdoors and super air conned indoors. Ughh....when my vacations are longer than a week long, I always get ill. Thankfully, this time is not serious so don't worry baba, mama :P I usually end up in hospital!! In HK I got bitten by them poisonous mozzies which you see on billboards to notify people of their pointless existence; my foot swolled up like a pig foot and I couldn't walk on it for 3 days. Then when I went to China to see my grandmama and grandbaba I was rushed to hospital on a motorbike and had a 2 drippers going in my arm for 6 hours and an injection on my bumbum, which the doctor just pulled my knicks down in front of the other patients. My goshhh... I am so lucky...
Loving vietnam's Tv channels though. Fashion TV. heaven 24/7!!!

'Banana' is a really blingy store right next door to the hotel I'm staying at.
Everything is really girly and cute. Bling Baby G watches, iPhone 4 cases, Disney tops, Lulu Guiness lip clutch, Chanel bag, Gucci bangles, Dior bracelets. Just one thing........... they're all fake. It all looks so nice and real but for those that actually buy real designers it's a shame really. Vietnam is full of replicas where ever you go. There aren't any laws here unlike neighbouring countries such as Singapore which has banned the sale of fakes. Even this lovely hotel has 'GUCCI' slippers in the room. (I'll take more photos later) Awful - as across the road in the window displays of the shopping malls is the real thing.

My bf told me 2 girls walked by and laughed at my GUCCI bag because they thought it was fake. Oh dear...
They just go for the classics here (& replicate)! Got mine from Flannels in the silent sale they had instore! Good sale at Flannels - £130 off, check it out! The Sukey Boston bag in lilac, instead of the usual brown, white or black. I was going to get one of the larger bags which was £900 but I like the shoulder strap which comes with this bag and it was few hundred £££ less!

It seems I need to be more vain and take photos of myself as my views have halfed!! I may seem like a vain person but actually, I'm not someone who takes photo of myself everyday :P I do take photos almost everyday but I prefer taking photos of the more interesting things surrounding me.

Anyhow, this is what I wore today, then I got changed into a different outfit because it started raining heavily for an hour or so! I kinda dislike those photos where girls take photos through the mirror with their camera... Used Shu Uemura for 3 years now, but thought I'd change to Chanel as it's hard to find the refillable compact powder in UK. The colour looks dark but when I apply it, it's perfect.
The Chanel lady said I needed the lightest shade, strangely when she tested it on me it matched my skin tone and was similar to the Shu Uemura.

Chanel's texture is better and gives a more realistic sheen to the face.

I've been working on this new monehhh making project 8-) eating out for every meal and just enjoying life.All good things are happening all at once whereas before, there was a period of time where I felt as though everything was going downhill. I've been almost every year since I was 8. My grandmother's sister lives 2 stops from Camden. I never get bored of this place, there's always something new to see... and buy.

This time I went with my auntie Anna; she said she felt like a tourist being with me, although she was born in London, haha. The other time I went Camden was to see the giant billboard featuring my bf who was sponsored by Adidas for his c-walking. Watch the video here. Dirty dishes like we've never seen before! We are usually OCD clean freaks.

Then it drove lil insane and she finally gave in, it took her 40minutes to clean this mountain of bacteria!

Our sleeping patterns is that there is no pattern.
I woke up at 5pm, and lil just went to bed! I opened the fridge and found this super sweet note sitting on top of 維他檸檬茶 and 仙草蜜 from lil ❤

Her parents came to start moving some of her stuff out and she went china town and had dim sum with them.
So sad :(( moving out soon...

Emerald gem nails

Haven't blogged in a while. Once again, uni!! However, I have this week to look forward to as I am attending my first hen do in London. The theme is Hollywood Glamour 1950s.

I'm not sure what dress I'll be wearing. I had a few choices before the theme was put into place; now I have to rethink it all over again!

I had done these nails a week ago perfect for the Hollywood theme. They are still in place with the exception of the thumb nail which pinged off when I was unbuckling seatbelt buckle of the car and wedged inside for a little while...

I was eating strawbs at the time and thought my nails looked cute as the leafy part 8-)
Some people think it's just one ready made crystal emerald but the edges of the emerald are all individual gems, including the little gold balls which are a pain to apply because they're 1mm wide.

After doing my nails, I wanted to get some earrings to go with and came across Angelina Jolie with her oh so beautiful $2.5 million emerald earrings and ring by Lorraine Schwartz.

Saw these posted on a friend's blog - Souperbwitch (3rd March) 2 days before the hand out date of these YSL totes. She says they will be "distributed by the brand on the streets of Paris, New York, London, Milan, Tokyo, Hong Kong and Los Angeles to the first lucky 2000 passerbys."

I messaged my auntie who is amazing at getting her hands on things like this....and she did :D

She got 2 from someone handing them out around Covent Garden, London.

Sis lala just came back from London where she did some work experience and also collected all my birthday presents. hehe. Thank youu.

I look like a perv peeping through a newspaper. haha

Unbaked Cheesecake Recipe

Had the back of fafa's white chocolate Hello Kitty Easter egg left so I wanted to re-decorate it and made a cheesecake just for the Hello Kitty head. Lili baked it with me - she said she had never baked before!

I used a chopstick and melted milk chocolate to draw the neko face :3
The rose is made from sugar paste.

This recipe is quick and easy~ took us 30minutes to prep
RASPBERRY, BLUEBERRY & WHITE CHOCOLATE CHEESECAKE
With a shortbread base (Unbaked version)
10-12 servings, about 250 calories per serving. nom nom!

RECIPE

Base:
200g shortbread, crumbs. (Alternatively you can use the traditional base using digestives)
50g melted butter

Filling:
300g soft cream cheese
100g caster sugar
2 tsp of lemon juice
15g gelatine (dissolved in boiling water, cooled)
200g melted white chocolate
150ml double whipping cream (lightly whipped)
Topping:
200g fresh raspberries
100g fresh blueberries
50g castor sugar
Icing sugar to dust

METHOD

Crush shortbread in a bag until crummy.
Stir in the melted butter.
Press mixture into the base of a greased tin. Mine was about 9" wide

Beat the cream cheese, castor sugar and lemon juice using an electric mixer.
Add the gelatine mixture and melted chocolate stirring until smooth.

Pour onto the biscuit base.
Refrigerate for 3 hours until set.

Whilst setting, make the raspberry glaze.
Use 100g of raspberries and add sugar. Boil in a saucepan until the right consistency.
If too thick, add water - too runny boil for longer.

Seive glaze to remove seeds.
Decorate as desired. I have chosen to cover the whole top of the cheesecake.
Decorate with fresh summer fruits. Dust with icing sugar.

Floppy hat & DIY skull pockets
A while ago, someone said they loved how I wore Primark but made it look expensive.
But I hadn't actually worn anything from Primark at all...I have some Primark pjama bottoms and some tights but that's about it. At the time I was quite offended, not by the person as they were simply being nice (bless ^o^)but the fact that Primark must have some decent clothes for them to look like mine which I pay 10 x more for? My sis went in and brought me a lovely dusty pink sheer blouse. lovee it! couldn't believe it was from Primark.
I have nothing agaisnt the store... Yes, quality might be poor but overall, it's the masses and masses in which they produce each item which uninterests me.
So I decided to customise it a little 8-)

Hello Kitty Easter Bunny - £12 from Tesco!

Oopy, Been busy all week so haven't been keeping my blog up to date.
Saw these super cute plushies in the 24hour tesco last Sunday at 3am to get chicken wings for the BBQ.
Ken said he wouldn't buy me it because I have so many already and they just sit there and collect dust. true : (
Instead, we brought Hachi lots of doggy treats hehe.
& Ken did a 1 & a half donut spin in the Tesco car park, I thought it was good for his 1st attempt. I told him to not do it whilst I was in the car but...weeeeee~so scary desu! Watch this ferrari do a donut here
